Robin Yocum, a former journalist known for his fiction
set in the Ohio River Valley, will appear at Rodman Public Library as part of the Fogle Author Series. Yocum, whose book “The Essay” was
the 2014 One Book One Community selection, has two works of nonfiction and six
works of fiction to his credit. His latest book, “The Sacrifice of Lester
Yates,” was published in 2021 and was a finalist for the Dashiell Hammett Award
for outstanding crime writing. Some of Yocum’s books will be available for
purchase on the day of his visit and the author will sign books following his
