For the summer months, Rodman Public Library will offer Tales for Tails every second and fourth Friday from 1 to 3 p.m., beginning on June 14 through July 26. There will be no program in August. Tails for Tales offers children the chance to try their reading skills on local therapy dogs. These specially trained dogs will “listen” to stories in the Children’s Program Room at the Main Library. Fifteen minute time slots are available. Patrons may sign up in advance for a preferred time slot. Please check our online calendar for dates at www.rodmanlibrary.com. For more information, call the Children’s Department at 330-821-2665, ext. 223.
